Who are we?

We are a group of people who gather to learn, teach and share skills in many forms of artistic expression.  Our goal is to instill a love of fine craftwork and to provide an outlet for creativity and craftwork for Southern Illinois.

We love to make things.  If you love to make things or want to learn how, please feel free to join us!  Our goal is to instill knowledge of and appreciation for all arts and fine crafts.

What do we do?

We have monthly meetings to conduct and support learning events, workshops, classes, demonstrations and displays, for both the education of the members and the local communities.  Our venue is in Mascoutah, close to everything in the Metro East Area.

We also have special Study Groups which meet regularly to discuss specific topics such as weaving, spinning, needle crafts, leather, pottery, and heritage crafts.

You may see us as vendors at local art fairs or Vine Street Market in O’Fallon.  You may also see us demonstrating at festivals.  Check our calendar to see where you can see us next.

Our Meetings

317 North County Road
Mascoutah, IL 62258

6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Please come and join us!

We currently meet two times per month:

The Heritage Arts meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.  We usually have a project to work on, or a speaker.  Feel free to bring your own project to work on.

General Meetings are held the last Thursday of each month, except November and December. This is a good meeting to attend to get an overview of what we do, and meet most of the members.

We hope to see you there!
