Have you ever been interested in exploring the crafts of history? Or modern crafts? We have strived to learn about these crafts as well as to teach them. From weaving, pottery, knitting, and crochet, to leather work and metal smithing. We have a talented group of artists who love to work in these areas and share their knowledge with others. If you are interested, please join us at one of our meetings. We meet twice a month in Mascoutah, Illinois. See details below, and please come visit!

Upcoming Events:
September 14th: We will also be learning how to fold pages in a book that will create an object or a picture. Come see what we can create with just folding pages!
September 28th: This is our monthly business meeting. We will also be showing our items for the upcycle/recycle challenge.
October 10th: This will be our annual business meeting. We usually have a business meeting at the end of the month, but we needed to change it for this month. The annual meeting is for the members to determine what directions they would like to take for the next year. Bring a project to work on and be ready to chat.
Other places to find us:
Vine Street Farmer’s Market: (O’Fallon, IL) September 23rd at the demo tent; and October 14th and October 21st.
Artistry in Wood: October 28th and 29th at the Belle Clair fairgrounds.

Please come and join us!
We currently meet two times per month:
Activity meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. We usually have a project to work on, or a speaker. Feel free to bring your own project to work on.
General Meetings are held the last Thursday of each month, except November and December. This is a good meeting to attend to get an overview of what we do, and meet most of the members.
We hope to see you there!
