Our Meetings

We have a new location!

Our new meeting location is at the Espenshied Chapel
317 N. County Road,
Mascoutah, IL

We currently meet two times a month:

Business Meetings are held the last Thursday of each month, except November and December. This is a good meeting to attend to get an overview of what we do, and meet most of the members.

The Heritage Arts meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month.

We hope to see you there!

Our Mission

The Artisan Guild of Southern Illinois was formed as a non-profit
organization to further the understanding of and appreciation for
all arts and fine crafts with special emphasis in the arts and
crafts of our heritage (fibers, fabrics, smithing, pottery, basketry,
weaving, leathercraft, woodworking, homestead life, and more).
We accomplished this through the conduct and support of
workshops, classes, demonstrations, displays, meetings,
lectures, and sales.

We have special Study Groups which meet regularly to
discuss specific topics such as weaving, spinning, needlecrafts,
pottery, and heritage crafts.
